Tools and Practices
Page for documenting existing tools and practices (initially of ICTs and media, but could be broader) within the camps, and ideas for new tools. This page needs cleanup, maybe to be split to subpages?

Existing media tools and practices
- ex. OccupyBoston media and ICTs: http://flic.kr/s/aHsjwx6XfW
- People's Mic, Info table, Paper Forums, Livestream, Maps, Meetup, General Assembly, IRC, Logistics, etc
- spreadsheet of all camps w/indications of infrastructure: campname, website, twitter, fb, meetup, livestream, wiki, irc, radiostream, electricity, list of working groups, donations, etc: http://bit.ly/occupyspreadsheet

Streaming
- map w/thumbs of all streams: http://web.media.mit.edu/~cfd/occupystreamsmap/
- Links to all streams: http://occupystreams.org
- Interesting new tool: all the livestreams from the #Occupy camps in one place http://occupymanifesto.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=chat
- IVR survey tool: can we use VOIP Drupal or other tool to create a voice-only/voice interactive version of surveys, so people can call in for it?
- OccupyRadio: livestreams hard to follow if you have poor bandwidth. Let's make a tool like StreamPhone (could be useful for LOTS of use cases) that lets you drop in a URL of any stream (or video or audio file on the web?) and gives you a way to listen by phone. Basically just one number (twlio?), and the tools generates a code to enter after you call the number, to hear the stream or audio from the file.
- http://ows.140elect.com/tweet_stats.php - database browser for all tweets containing #ows, #occupy, #occupywallstreet

Ideas for new tools
- occupyideas.cc
- occupytogether.crowdmaps.com
- Assembly: different tools for remote assembly participation. Example: irc consensus bot. Augmented w / voice? Hangout: Assembly module? etc
- Virtual Paper Forums: single empty page, just topic. Responses / tweets to that topic aggregate and cluster on the page. More RTs, response grows in size. Thumbnails of related/tweeted media accrete as well.
- OccupySupply: look at logistics tools (existing) and find improvements
- OccupyRadio: produce programming in Spanish for U.S., Latin American, and Spanish audiences. Do other languages as capacity allows
- ThisIsWhatDemocracySoundsLike: database of chants. Call in, press 1. to listen to chants, press 2. to upload a chant.
- 'Credit Union of the 99??' Anyone w/income below 300k welcome (see moveyourmoney)
Other
- Audio: (a repository of audio recordings could be very useful. anybody using freesound.org? audio could also be extracted from videos posted in youtube and other channels) people's mic (here is an interesting article on the use of this practice:“I didn’t say look; I said listen”: The People’s Microphone, #OWS, and Beyond), mobile dj's, drummers (different kind of set ups), rhymes, songs, bands (rock, country, brass)
- Visual (signs (collaborative table with brushes, paint, brushes), flags, hand sign language for general assembly, masks, scultptures such as megaphone in liberty square)
- Performance (cos-play : Guy Fawkes, minutemen, zombies, colonial times, marching band parade, puppets, especial performances and situations such as this one making a statement of the US military occupation of Afganistan.);
- Printing (newspapers, fliers, pamphlets)
